History

Founded by Shri Gautam Chand Jain in 1981, the company started with a small shop in M.G. Road, Secunderabad. It was however, Shri Prakash Chand Jain’s and Late Shri Dilip Kumar Jain (Shri Gautam Jain’s younger brothers) perceptive vision and guidance, which helped its growth ten times in size and sales. Hyderabad was the first city to have retail shops, these were closely followed by spacious and luxurious warehouses. As business expanded, the work was delegated to efficient and responsible dealers all over India.

Today, PFL manages a healthy working partnership with over 500 partners and caters to their every need in a routine manner. They have maintained the title of ‘the largest wholesale dealer's for Raymond’s for the last two decades – all due to their excellence in producing exclusive labels and keen sense of design. PFL has kept up with time and its demands in every field possible. Taking customers and dealers hand in hand, it has tried to fulfill every small requirement ranging from style to accuracy, comfort to commitment and even mass production to perfection. A company of such remarkable stature has received a distinction from such peers, followers and workers for its accountability and trustworthiness. Today PFL has one of the largest warehouses situated in the heart of the city in one of the most prestigious buildings of Secunderabad - Surya Towers, S.P. Road.

PFL, like other organizations in its field procures orders from dealers across the country for various designs/shades. It then collates the figures and places consolidated order on Raymond Ltd. at periodic intervals. These brands include the regular merchandise of Regular Collection made by Raymond: Passion, Auburn, Tesoro, Pantaloni, Silver Touch and several other makes. The stocks once received from Raymond Ltd. are in turn dispatched promptly to the dealers. PFL has spacious office-cum-stocking point at Secunderabad, which is visited by several dealers for the selection of these fabrics and placement of bulk orders. While meeting its client’s regular needs, PFL also provides an extra set of Exclusive labels, designed personally by Mr. Prakash Chand Jain. He combines his vast experience and fashionable quotient to the art of ‘blending’ to create elegant brands such as Snow Crown, Allure and Mirage. He also offers his clientele a range of economy, middle and upper luxury selection to pick and choose from – a way in which the selectively designed fabric can be made available to every class of its customers. Thus, this consistent initiative and creative flow integrated with the unique understanding of style and comfort, shows the company’s commitment to its loyal traders and customers.

To enhance and compliment its superior designer labels, PFL has established a scrupulous marketing network as well. This team of highly skilled professionals includes 30 personnel taking up the roles of Area Sales/Marketing Managers and Assistant Salesmen. These are the people who do the ground research work by visiting various retail stores across the country and book orders at the retailer’s doorstep. Their presence is extremely useful for bookings, price related queries, and fabric or design related information and even as a medium of communication. They are PFL representatives for every store in touch with the company – providing prompt services for every enquiry.

Incorporated in the year 1925, The Raymond’s group is a Rs. 4000 Crore+ conglomerate dealing in textiles, readymade garments, engineering files and tools, prophylactics and toiletries. The Group is the leader in textiles, apparels, files and tools in India and enjoys a prestigious position in the International market.Raymond Ltd. is India’s leading producer of worsted suiting fabric with a 60% market share. Raymond is the largest and most respected textile brand in India for “The Complete Man”. The brand addresses the demands of “Fine Fabrics” for men, understands their fashion sense, and fulfills it while adding comfort and character strength to the fabric.

The Company sells suiting/trouser fabric, which is cyclical, is non-existent as there is no substitute product available. Though, there is some competition from other competitor brands such as Grasim. Dinesh, etc., however Raymond fabric users are generally brand loyal. The company is market leader in worsted and poly wool segments.

Raymond’s is one of the strongest and unbeatable brands in India.
